Last weekend Lauren came to visit. In between several shopping trips, we also made it to the Kroller-Muller Museum in the Hoge Veluwe National Park. We hopped on our free white bikes and headed off in the direction of the museum. There are several bike-pick-up-points in the park and you just choose your bike and then leave it at the next point. We wandered round the sculpture garden of the museum which was a little disappointing, since a lot of the artworks were still being restored after a major storm we had a few months ago. Still, it was great to be out in the fresh air, enjoying the wide open spaces! On the way out of the park we took a detour past the Jachthuis (Hunting lodge) that used to belong to the owner of the park. The park used to be his private hunting ground and the basis of the musem is his wife's extensive art collection.
